Our second project will be to create another online class segment where students are taught how to create character designs using multiply applications.
This project will be lead by our lead illustrator and graphic designer Angela Yu. She will be providing her characters as references. Her goal is to help all new artists figure out what styles work for them.
There have been many people from all over the world who wants to learn how to create original characters and to start from the basics, but because of their daily lives, choosing to take lessons in a classroom where out of the question. Most people who have struggled with this problem will try using random art tutorials but these only seem to been messing with their artistic growth as they are not targeted to their specific needs.
The results of this project will allow people who normally cannot come to in person classes be able learn character designing remotely through our online classes. Our teachers will be able to help them with what they want to improve on. We are aiming for our online classes to be just as efficient as physical classes and hope that students will take advantage of these recoded classes by being able repay them for their own learning pace.

These sketch's are an example of a original character that has been drawn digitally. After this step the character will be fleshed out even more as it's gonna given a story and become more detailed. In the end it will be created in a 3D software like Maya. Here is an example of how the creation process of a character looks like. You will learn basic and advanced techniques of how to draw rough sketches, create detail, decide colours, and more.
